This notice explains how we process the personal data of users who visit www.chtbelts.com and contact us through the form on its pages, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.
Data controller
The data controller is Tecnica Industriale Srl, registered office in Modugno (BA), S.P. 231 km 1.110 – 70026, Italy
(E-mail: info@tecnicaindustriale.it, certified e-mail (PEC): amministrazione@pec.tecnicaindustriale.it, Tel.: +39 0805367090).
Data we process
Browsing data
The systems running this website collect, in the course of their normal operation, some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet protocols: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, server response code, browser type and operating system. This data is used only to keep the website working correctly and securely, not to identify users.
Data provided voluntarily through the contact form
When you fill in the information or quotation request form, we process the data you enter: name, company, country, phone number, e-mail address and the content of your message, together with the page from which the request was sent. The message is sent by e-mail to the controller's company mailbox and is not stored on the website.
To protect the form from automated submissions (spam), the website records the date, outcome and page language of each submission together with a code derived from the IP address: the IP address itself is not stored in clear.
Purposes and legal basis
- Answering requests for information and quotations and managing any resulting business relationship: the legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject's request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Keeping the website secure and preventing abuse (browsing data and anti-spam protection of the form): the legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Complying with legal, accounting and tax obligations if a business relationship follows the request: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Whether providing data is mandatory
Providing the data requested in the form is optional, but without it we cannot answer your request. Browsing data is necessary to use the website.
How data is processed
Data is processed electronically by authorised staff, with technical and organisational measures appropriate to protect it against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Communication between your browser and the website is encrypted (HTTPS). No profiling or automated decision-making takes place.
Recipients
Data may be processed by the controller's authorised staff and by the providers of the IT services needed to run the website and e-mail (hosting, maintenance), acting as data processors under Art. 28 GDPR. Data is not published or passed on to third parties for marketing purposes.
Transfers outside the European Union
The controller does not transfer data to countries outside the EU. Should this become necessary to follow up a request, the transfer will take place with the safeguards provided for by Articles 44 et seq. GDPR.
Retention period
- Requests received through the form: for as long as needed to follow them up; if a business relationship follows, for the duration of the relationship and for the periods required by law (for example 10 years for accounting records).
- Anti-spam submission log: no longer than 12 months; the data used to limit the number of submissions per IP address is deleted after one hour.
- Browsing data (server logs): only as long as strictly necessary for the security of the service, after which it is deleted by the automatic log rotation.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies: neither technical, analytics nor profiling cookies. It also does not load content or services from third parties: even the fonts are hosted on our own server.
So that the information notice is not shown again once closed, your browser stores locally (localStorage) a technical flag that contains no personal data and is not sent to the website. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings.
The links to social networks (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram) are plain links: no data is sent to these platforms until you click a link; from then on, the privacy policies of the respective operators apply.
Your rights
You may at any time exercise the rights provided for by Articles 15-22 GDPR: access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interest. Requests should be sent to the controller at the contact details above.
If you believe that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live or work.
